TechTALKer:Our new SOLIDscript™ Solid Phase cDNA Synthesis Kit eliminates the need for a separate mRNA or total RNA isolation kit or procedure. Using the kit protocol, mRNA is hybridized to the oligo(dT)₂₅-immobilized magnetic particles directly out of tissue, cells, or total RNA. The immobilized cDNA library is then completed by a one-hour incubation with AMV-RT. Each immobilized cDNA library is sufficient for 20 robust PCR reactions. Use of our Taq-FORCE™ Amplification System with the SOLIDscript™ Kit provides a complete and efficient system for RT-PCR, allowing the researcher to go from cells to RT-PCR results in just 6 hours.
