Figure 1: Comparrison of solid phase- versus solution-based RT-PCR. cDNA libraries from a single mouse liver were constructed on a magnetic solid support using SOLIDscript™ (Lane 1) or in solution from isolated mRNA (Lane 2). Equal amounts of cDNA were analyzed for IL-1ß expression by PCR. PCR products were resolved on a 1.2% agarose gel (1X TAE) and visualized by EtBr staining.
