Researcher: How do I optimize my PCR conditions when using the Taq-FORCE™ DNA Amplification System?

TechTALKer:The Taq-FORCE™ DNA Amplification System eliminates the need to optimize your PCR conditions. For example, there is no need to perform laborious Mg+ titrations to optimize PCR conditions for each specific template. The Taq-FORCE™ DNA Amplification System includes: Unmodified Taq™ DNA Polymerase; dNTP mix; and MIGHTY™ Buffer, an optimized 10X PCR buffer. The MIGHTY™ Buffer supplied with this system is complete with MgCl2 to give a final concentration of 1.5 mM. In addition, the unique MIGHTY™ Buffer contains PCR enhancers which improve signal even with difficult templates (i.e. GC-rich). With many other DNA amplification systems, templates that are GC rich require the addition of expensive enhancers such as 7-deaza GTP, and templates with complex secondary structures require the addition of additives, such as DMSO, to the PCR reaction. For the majority of PCR reactions, using the Taq-FORCE™ Amplification system eliminates the need for addition and titration of these costly and time consuming additives. Robust PCR reactions will result the first time and every time you use the Taq-FORCE™ Amplification System.
